The Brazilian Center for Research in Physics gave me a junior position, and I won medals in Physics and Mathematics Olympiads, always with a passion for understanding the natural world.”
“I started surfing while doing my BSc in Oceanography in Rio, before moving to Australia to finish Uni. In Australia, I did research on coastal geomorphology and nearshore hydrodynamics (i.e physics and geology of the beach and waves) for 3 years.”
